The Russian Orthodox Laymens's League of Connecticut (R.O.L.L.) is an apostolic organization of the Orthodox Church, dedicated to spreading the Faith through modern media and promoting charitable endeavors within the Church.
Membership is open to anyone of the Orthodox Faith in good standing, from any canonical Orthodox jurisdiction. "Russian" is retained in the organization's title in recognition of its roots within the former "Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church." Membership is open to men and women of all ethnic backgrounds; R.O.L.L. does not discriminate based on ethnicity or race.
Since its incorporation in 1957, the Russian Orthodox Laymens's League has grown into a pan-Orthodox organization dedicated to the advancement and promulgation of the Orthodox Faith by means of its educational and missionary outreach. Its ministries include support for the ICONS in SOUND and VOICE of ORTHODOXY radio programs and the New England Orthodox Youth Rally, scholarship assistance to seminarians, and assistance for humanitarian causes.
